There are some things I was used to in DPP that I will miss (like focus point display, and I still haven't figured out how to view the full exif data), but I'll give it a go. Sadly, Afteshot Pro does not currently support. I downloaded a trial of DXO Photolab 4, and I ended up getting a free copy of Aftershot Pro 3 with a lens I purchased from Adorama. They have added what I wanted and I may try and see if it works for me. I am a Mac user and until this latest version for Mac there was some features I wanted that were not available. Very speedy, easy to use and the results are terrific. I wasn't able to get into its UI and ultimately gave up on it. ![]() It was Bibble before Corel bought it, and from what I read, AfterShot was improved slightly. I tried AfterShot Pro several versions ago. Not really an issue to me, since I'd be learning from scratch. A few of the online reviews are by long time LR users, and mainly they seem to complain about the learning curve or differences in workflow. I thought it may be worth trying, but there is not a lot of info out there. I saw Corel's Aftershot is a LR alternative which can be purchased outright. ![]() I've never tried Lightroom, and I'm not super interested in paying the CC subscription ( I guess I'm a dinosaur when it comes to this). I will then sometimes pull an image over to an old version of Photoshop (CS6.really old). And my workflow typically starts with the adjustments that can be done in Canon's Digital Photo Pro. For the most part, I do minimal editing to my photos.
